Seven good first experiments.

The Growth Library is intentionally broad. This smaller set gives you one curated, discovery-ready protocol for each Life Area so you can start with an action instead of studying the taxonomy.

Focus & Execution · practical

Work in Focused 25-Minute Intervals (pomodoros) Followed by a 5-Minute Break

Pick one concrete outcome, work on it for one 25-minute focus block, take a short break, and then decide whether another block is useful. Treat 25 minutes as a starting setting, not a scientifically optimal duration.

Check-in: Did I work on the intended outcome? What interrupted me, and should the next focus block be shorter, the same, or longer?

Mind & Resilience · practical

Separate Outcomes From Actions You Can Control

Write down one concern, separate the outcome from the actions you can take, convert anything you can influence into one concrete behavior, and choose the next useful action without pretending you control the final result.

Check-in: What part of this situation was actually mine to act on, what remained outside my control, and did the sorting help me choose a clearer next step?

Health & Energy · reviewed

Start a Morning Stretch Routine

Use a short, gentle flexibility routine as a morning movement cue if that timing suits you. Move slowly only as far as is comfortable, start with a few simple movements, and build up gradually rather than forcing a fixed 10-to-20-minute progression.

Check-in: Did the movements feel comfortable and controlled? Did I stop or modify anything that caused pain or made me feel unwell, and is this routine still appropriate for me?

Learning & Thinking · practical

Spend Each Week Focused on a Single Theme

Choose one narrow learning theme for the week, define one visible result for Friday, and complete at least one small practice rep on each day you work on it.

Check-in: Did I complete one practice rep? What was the main friction, and what should I change for the next rep?

Communication & Relationships · practical

Do Active Listening Exercises

In one conversation, wait until the other person finishes a thought, paraphrase the main point in your own words, invite correction, and ask one open question before offering advice or changing the topic.

Check-in: Did I summarize before responding? Was my summary accepted or corrected, and what did the correction teach me?

Creativity & Expression · practical

In a Group, Write Down Ideas and Pass Them Around for Others to Build

Give the group one clear question, let everyone write ideas silently, pass the ideas to another person to add or change them, and delay discussion until the group has built several options.

Check-in: Did everyone get a chance to contribute before discussion? Which idea became more useful after another person built on it, and what should the group test next?

Work, Money & Strategy · practical

When Faced with a Problem, Start by Making an Educated Guess About the Cause

When a work problem is unclear, write one plausible explanation, state what you would expect to observe if it were true, run the smallest safe check that could change your mind, and update the hypothesis from the result.

Check-in: What did I expect to observe, what actually happened, and what changed in my explanation after the test?
