Counterexample Check
Test absolute statements against real exceptions

Try this
Write the absolute statement, underline the universal word, and find one genuine case where the statement does not hold. Then rewrite the claim more precisely.
Check-in: Did the counterexample change the claim, or was the original statement already precise enough to survive the check?
Evidence: Practical guidance; no evidence-like claim is detected in the current source record.
Review note: Public content is replaced by a generic counterexample logic check. The legacy NLP collection is retained only as compatibility navigation; the protocol makes no claim that NLP is scientifically validated or necessary for the technique.
Absolute language can hide useful detail. A counterexample check forces a broad statement to meet at least one real exception before you use it as a rule.
1. Capture the exact claim
Write the sentence as it appears in your head or conversation. Preserve words such as always, never, everyone, nobody, impossible, or guaranteed.
2. Find a genuine exception
Look for one real case that does not fit. Avoid inventing a hypothetical exception solely to win an argument.
3. Rewrite more precisely
Replace the absolute statement with a narrower description that reflects what you actually know.
4. Choose the action from the narrower claim
Make the next decision using the more precise version rather than the emotionally stronger one.
Questions to consider
Is this an NLP technique?
The page lives in a legacy NLP collection, but the protocol itself is simply a logic check. It makes no claim about NLP as a method.
What if I cannot find a counterexample?
Keep the claim provisional and check whether it is narrow enough to be tested. Failure to find an exception quickly does not automatically make a broad statement true.

Implementation observations can trigger a review, but they cannot change an evidence conclusion by themselves. Commercial relationships do not control review status or outcomes.
