Batch Non-Urgent Notifications Instead of Receiving Them All Day
Group non-urgent smartphone notifications into a few predictable delivery windows while keeping genuinely urgent channels available. The useful idea is predictable batching, not a magic number of batches.

What the agent should do
Choose the apps whose alerts are useful but rarely urgent. Use your phone's notification summary, scheduled focus mode, or another reversible setting to deliver those alerts in predictable windows. Keep calls, selected contacts, security alerts, calendars, or other genuinely time-sensitive channels outside the batch. Start with a schedule that fits your day rather than copying the study's three-times-a-day condition as a universal rule.

Did I feel interrupted less often without creating missed urgent information, compulsive manual checking, or anxiety about what I could not see?
